Walter is still a young puppy. The white Labrador Retriever is learning to sit, down and stay for longer and longer periods of time. His owners sent this picture over of Walter staying in a down command while the family enjoys dinner. Walter is also enjoying the freedom of being off leash on hikes and in the unfenced back yard because he is fortunate enough to be getting some remote collar (or ecollar) training. Walter is one lucky dog because his owners were intent from the beginning on getting themselves trained in the skills of becoming leaders to their dog. Already the pup is showing the ability to listen and respond to commands. The road to a great dog leads right through our living rooms! The drills we practice at and around the home translate into great skill navigating the outside world.
